Door Seals

Most of our door weatherstrips have correct original features like molded ends and push-in clips. This image displays a typical hardtop or convertible door seal. Door seals for post sedans surround the outer edge of the door frame, around the glass. SuperCar Specialty door seals are made of top quality materials, and are treated to resist ozone and pollution damage.


Hardtop Roofrail Seals
Hardtop Roofrail seals typically start at the lower windshield post and go up over the door and rear quarter glass on each side of the roofline. Most feature front molded ends as original attached to soft extruded rubber. Stop leaky or noisy upper windows by replacing roofrail seals.




Trunk Seals
This is one of many different profiles used on various GM cars. Most trunk seals are located in the trunk opening gutter on the body, although they were installed on the trunk lid of some early models. Replacing a trunk seal is cheap insurance against a rusted trunk floor. Our American-made extrusion is the best available.




U-Shaped Door Jam Seals

This part for hardtop models is located behind the door and below the quarter glass seal on the body. Keeps water and dirt from entering the rear quarter panels and rusting the sheet metal there. Made with molded rubber and a solid metal core as original.





Door J-Seals

These parts are shaped like an inverted "J", and are located on the upper front edge of many '55-'61 doors. They are separate of the door main seals, and keep water and debris from entering at the leading edge of the door.

Glass Weatherstrips

Windshield and Rear Main Glass Seals

Most '55-'64 models featured thick rubber weatherstrip seals with specially molded corners to seal the windshield and rear main glasses. Our main glass seals are faithful reproductions designed to protect your interior and body from leaks.





Vent Window Seals

Vent, or Wing windows, are normally located in front of the door glasses on most '55-'68 models. A few 4-door models also had vent windows in the rear. Some of our vent seal part numbers include the vent rear verticals, while others are available separately.





Horizontal Window Seals

Horizontal seals, or window sweepers as they are sometimes called, are mounted on the outside and inside of the door and rear quarter glasses. They seal and wipe the glasses where the come up out of the door and body. Note that there are very limited part numbers available for these parts. Please check your particular cars' list of available parts.



Glass Run Vertical Seals
The front edge of the door glass slides inside of this seal which is located behind the vent window on various '64-68 models. Flocked rubber insert that fits inside of a metal guide. Not available for all models, please check your particular list for availability.






Quarter Glass Vertical Seals

These seals are mounted in the front edge chrome of each rear sideglass on 2 door and 4 door hardtops and convertibles. Please check your particular list for availability.

Convertible Products

Convertible Roofrail Seals

Seals mounted to the folding top frame, designed to keep water, air and debris from entering between the top of the door and rear quarter glasses and the top. Most cars had 6 pieces, 3 on each side, although '71-'76 full-sized cars had 4, and some mid-50's cars had 8. Some roofrail kits include the top header seal, described below: check your car list for particulars.




Convertible Top Header Seal

The top header seal is mounted on the front edge of the convertible top frame, sealing the front of the top to the upper windshield frame. Top header's are available separately for most cars, and included in most convertible roofrail sets.







Convertible Top

Outstanding quality heavy duty top, complete with rear bow outside trim, front welting, and hardware.
